Lensiora ("Lensiora," "we," "us," or "our") manufactures and sells dental intraoral cameras and
related software. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal
information when you visit www.lensiora.com (the "Site"), place an order, contact our support
team, or otherwise interact with us. It applies to information collected online through the Site
and through our sales and support channels (email, phone, and chat).
By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the
Site.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
Information you provide directly:
- Identifiers and contact information — name, email address, mailing/shipping address, phone
number, and practice/business name, collected when you place an order, create an account,
request support, fill out a contact form, or sign up for emails. - Order and payment information — products purchased, order history, and transaction
details. Payment card and PayPal details are collected and processed directly by our payment
processor (PayPal). We do not receive or store full payment card numbers on our servers. - Customer support communications — the contents of emails, contact-form submissions, chat
conversations, phone calls, and voicemails you send to our support and sales teams, including
any information you choose to include in them. - Audio and transcripts — if you call our support line and leave a voicemail, your message
may be recorded and transcribed (including by automated speech-to-text tools) so we can
respond to your request and keep a record of it. If we introduce an automated (AI) phone
assistant or live call recording, you will be notified at the start of the call.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited,
referring URLs, and campaign parameters (for example, UTM tags), collected through cookies and
similar technologies (see Section 4). - Shopping activity — items added to your cart, including carts that are not completed, so
we can restore your cart and, if you have given us your email address, remind you about it. - Security data — IP addresses and request details logged by our website firewall and
anti-bot services to detect and block fraud, spam, and attacks.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health
records, biometric data, or precise geolocation. We do not use personal information for automated
decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, and provide receipts and order updates;
- Provide customer and technical support, including diagnosing issues with your camera or
software and processing repairs, returns, and warranty service; - Maintain your customer account and order history;
- Send transactional emails about your order, and — with the ability to opt out at any time —
occasional marketing emails about products, updates, and offers (see Section 8); - Remind you about items left in your shopping cart, if you provided your email address;
- Improve the Site, our products, and our customer service, including by analyzing aggregate
site-usage statistics; - Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
- Comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
3. AI-Assisted Support (Chat and Phone)
Some of our support channels use automated (AI) assistants:
- Our website support chat may be answered by an automated assistant rather than a human.
- Voicemails you leave on our support line may be transcribed by automated speech-to-text
software so we can respond to your request. - If we introduce an automated (AI) phone assistant or live call recording in the future,
you will be notified at the start of the call.
Conversations with these assistants are logged and may be reviewed by our support staff and
stored in our customer-support system so we can follow up on your request.
Please do not share payment card numbers or other sensitive information in chat or voicemail.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential site functions — shopping cart, login sessions, checkout, and security
(including anti-bot verification). These are required for the Site to work. - Analytics — we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4, which helps us
understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, traffic sources, aggregate statistics). - Advertising — we use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. Conversion
tracking may send Google a hashed (unreadable) version of the email address you enter at
checkout ("enhanced conversions") to measure how our ads perform. Remarketing cookies allow
Google to show you Lensiora ads on other websites after you visit our Site. You can opt out of
this advertising as described below and in Section 9, or directly through
Google Ads Settings. - Marketing and promotions — remembering coupon codes, campaign sources, and showing sign-up
offers.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site (such as the cart and checkout) from
working.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal
and/or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Our Site does not respond to DNT signals, as there
is no common industry standard for them. We treat a GPC signal from your browser as a request to
opt out of the "sharing" of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in
Section 9.
Third-party tracking: Google, as our analytics and advertising provider, may collect
information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use
our Site. Google’s use of this data is described in its own privacy policy at
policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we have not done so in the preceding
12 months. We do not give your name, email address, or order details to third parties for
their own marketing purposes.
However, because we use Google Ads remarketing cookies (Section 4), California law may treat
that as "sharing" personal information (internet activity data) for cross-context behavioral
advertising. You can opt out of this at any time — see Section 9 ("Do Not Sell or Share").
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate our business and are permitted to use the
information only to provide services to us, including:- Payment processing (PayPal);
- Shipping and postage carriers (for example, USPS) to deliver your order;
- Web hosting, content delivery, and website security providers;
- Email delivery providers for order and support emails;
- Analytics providers (see Section 4);
- AI/automation providers that power our support chat, phone assistant, and voicemail
transcription (see Section 3); - Our internal customer relationship management (CRM) and order-management systems.
- Legal and safety recipients — when we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, a
court order, or a lawful government request; to enforce our Site policies; or to protect the
rights, property, or safety of Lensiora, our customers, or others. - Business transfers — if Lensiora is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets,
personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction; this Privacy Policy would
continue to apply to it.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:
- Order and transaction records — retained for as long as needed for tax, accounting,
warranty, and legal purposes. - Customer support records (emails, chat logs, call recordings/voicemail transcripts) —
retained while your account or support case is active and for a reasonable period afterward so
we can reference the history of your equipment and prior issues. - Marketing email lists — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information.
- Security logs — retained for a limited period consistent with fraud- and
attack-prevention needs.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
7. How We Protect Your Information
We use a variety of technical and organizational measures to protect personal information,
including:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all pages of the Site, including checkout;
- Payment processing handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor — full card numbers are not
stored on our servers; - Website firewall, malware scanning, and anti-bot protections;
- Access controls limiting customer data to authorized personnel who need it for their work.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information
using commercially reasonable safeguards.
8. Marketing Emails and Your Choices
If you place an order or sign up for our emails, we may send you occasional news, product
updates, and offers. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link; you can also
opt out by contacting us (Section 13). Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional
emails about your orders or support requests.
If you abandoned a shopping cart after entering your email address, we may send you a reminder
email; those emails also include an unsubscribe option.
9. Your Privacy Rights
All Customers
Regardless of where you live, you may:
- Access and update your account information at any time by logging in at
lensiora.com/my-account, or by contacting us; - Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
(for example, tax records of completed orders); - Opt out of marketing emails at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the methods in Section 13. We will verify your
request by matching the information you provide against our records (typically your name, email
address, and recent order details), and we will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate
against you for exercising any privacy right. You may designate an authorized agent to make a
request on your behalf; we will ask the agent for proof of your written permission and may still
verify your identity directly.
California Residents
CalOPPA / How to review and change your information: California residents may review and
request changes to their personal information as described above.
Categories collected and shared: In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories
of personal information listed in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet
activity, and audio recordings of support voicemails), from the sources described there, for the
purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of service providers in Section 5.
We do not sell personal information for money. We may "share" internet activity data
(cookie identifiers and browsing activity on our Site) with Google for cross-context behavioral
advertising (remarketing), as described in Section 4.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: To opt out of this sharing, you can:
- Use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of the Site;
- Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor GPC signals as an opt-out
of sharing; or - Contact us using the methods in Section 13.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Shine the Light (Civil Code § 1798.83): We do not disclose personal information to third
parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
Nevada Residents
We do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law (NRS 603A). Nevada residents may
nevertheless submit a request directing us not to sell their information by contacting us
(Section 13).
Other US States
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut,
Texas, Oregon, and others) may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and
opt-out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling. We extend the rights described in "All
Customers" above to all US customers. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our
decision; we will respond to appeals within the time required by your state’s law.
Visitors from Outside the United States
Our Site and products are operated from the United States, and the information we collect is
stored and processed in the United States. If you visit or order from outside the US, you
understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. If you are in the
European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under
local law (including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection);
you may exercise them by contacting us, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data
protection authority. Our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract (orders and
support), our legitimate interests (site operation, security, and improving our products), your
consent (marketing emails), and compliance with legal obligations.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Site, products, and services are directed to dental professionals and adults, and are not
intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we
will delete it.
11. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, dental imaging software
vendors, or our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram). This Privacy Policy does not
apply to those sites; review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy
on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If we make material changes to how
we handle previously collected personal information, we will provide notice on the Site (and,
where appropriate, by email) before the change takes effect. We review this policy at least once
every 12 months.
