Intraoral Camera for MacPractice – MacOS

Lensiora seamlessly integrates with MacPractice v5 or higher (current 2022 version is Gen 13)

No Foot pedal or mouse is needed to save images, everything is done from the camera button itself!

Installation Guide

To use the camera on MacOS, you don’t need to install any software. Just follow these steps:

  1. Connect the cable to the wand and plug it into a USB port on your computer. Avoid using USB hubs or monitor USB ports.
  2. With MacPractice, you can capture photos in two ways: Attachments Ability or Digital Radiography Ability.
  3. Choose a patient and visit, then pick or create a layout for your images.
  4. Click the small Camera icon in the bottom left of MacPractice, or press Command+Shift+J, or choose “Video” from the “View” menu at the top.
  5. The camera interface will open, and it might show the default FaceTime webcam. To use the Lensiora Intraoral Camera, click the Gear icon.
  6. Press the “pop-out” button to see a larger camera preview.
  7. Use the capture buttons on the Lensiora Intraoral camera wand to take snapshots. When you close the window, the photos will be saved in the patient’s chart, where you can edit, export, and rotate them.
